Patient must avoid use of alcohol and smoking during the hemroids problems. Patient of hemroids should eat fiber rich and soft diet. Available dietary supplements may also improve the quantities of fiber in your diet. Patients of hemroids are also advised to take enough quantity of water and fruit juices daily that will provide soft stool. Fiber rich food and fluid provide softness to stool, and improved softness, regularity and bulk of stool, reduces excessive force on the veins thus provide less strain on veins. Studies have shown that taking more than six glasses of water per day in addition to fresh fruit juices minimizes the problem of Hemroid.

Normal exercise may also assist to make your stool soft. For a pregnant woman, it is recommended that she should lie flat on her back for approximately 20 to 30 minutes daily this method will help her in minimizing the ache because of decreased force on affected veins.

Other non-surgical treatments can also be used for curing hemroids, like ligation, coagulation therapy and scleotherapy. In lagation treatment a rubber band is fixed around the infected veins. While in coagulation therapy the infected tissues are extracted. And in scleotherapy injection of chemicals is used.
