How Hemroids Occur

Hemroids can take place due to any reason this being a life style disease.  It takes place over time and from the day one is born, one similar to ageing is moving towards hemroids.  This can be augmented in some people due to their life style and slowed down in other due to their life style.

First to tell you what is hemroids; hemroids is damage to the anus and the veins and blood vessels that are surrounding the anus. This can also be a result of some extra tissues protruding out of the anus.  This being an area that is the least inaccessible to the individual, he almost pays no care to this part of his body.  It is only when the person is in pain or blood passes into the stool does one realize that he has a problem.

Most physicians attribute this disease to constipation and diet taken.  But then other than these reasons there are various other reasons that are also leading to the cause of hemroids.  Most of these factors are discussed below, these will help one in setting up guidelines as to what should be avoided and what should one do if affected by hemroids.

During pregnancy / delivery the mother would need to push the child out of the womb by exerting pressure. This pressure is in turn exerted on the anus and one does not feel this more so if one is making use of local anesthesia.  The pressure exerted on the anal muscles will cause irreparable damage and this will result in hemroids.  It is advisable for pregnant women to follow some exercises during the last trimester which will help one in easy delivery.  Added to this a word of caution, avoid using local anesthesia during delivery.  A little pain suffered during delivery will relieve you of a life long pain in the ass.

Improper diet aided with irregular food habits will lead to hemroids.  Take a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet.  Stick to lean meat and food that contains a lot of fibers.  You should also take cereals in your diet.  This is one main aiding factor in avoiding hemroids.  In case you are suffering from an un-healthy / irregular bowl movement, make use of laxatives to aid in bowl movement.

The rectal muscles also get stretched when you exert   pressure to lift up heavy objects.  You may also exert extra pressure on your rectal muscles if you try to hold your breath longer.  All these are factors that lead to the formation of hemroids.

Internal factors that lead to the development of hemroids are liver weakness.  Poor liver restricts the release of bile into the intestines.  The White blood cells (WBC) produced in one’s body is responsible for the repair of certain internal wounds.  If the WBC produced is insufficient this can result in internal injuries not healing.  Overall weakness also results in improper functioning of the colon resulting in hemroids.

These are factors that are governing the formation of hemroids in an individual.  There may be other factors that may not have been covered here which may also be directly or indirectly responsible for the formation of hemroids. However, these are only guidelines and for more detailed information one must physically consult a doctor.
